As part of the award, we commissioned a highly experienced climate change consultant Iain Brown to help teachers convey the key messages about climate change relating to food systems. It is important that climate change issues are taught across the curriculum and not compartmentalised into Geography classes alone. Climate change will have strong impacts on the future of the current generation of children who need to have the knowledge and skills to deal with its impacts. This handbook is intended to help school teachers with these tasks.
